This article is designed to provide an overview of the Planning Center People integration between Pushpay and Planning Center to allow transaction syncing between your Community Member details and Planning Center People.
What is it?
Your Pushpay Community Members will be synchronized with Planning Center People. Whenever a change is made in either system Pushpay will check and synchronize the records keeping the details up-to-date.
New members of your community that give using Pushpay will be automatically created in Planning Center People, allowing you to grow your database.
How does it work?
Pushpay works behind the scenes to make the integration experience seamless. Once enabled, Pushpay handles everything automatically.
For each Community Member, Pushpay will first look for an existing person in Planning Center People by searching for their name, email address or mobile number. If we can find a good match we will merge the details from Pushpay with the details already in Planning Center People and then keep the records up to date.
If an existing person cannot be found, a new person will be created in Planning Center People automatically using the details from Pushpay. You can even verify if Pushpay creates a new person by reviewing the Activity tab on the person's profile.
Finally, any changes made in Planning Center People will then be synchronized back to Pushpay in future.
Can I integrate with Planning Center Giving?
At this time, we only offer an integration with Planning Center People.
