When donors give to your organization, they are required to select a particular designation for their payment. Designation options often include values such as ‘Tithes & Offerings’ or ‘Missions’. These are values that you have selected and requested that we set up for you.
Pushpay's feature, which we call Funds, is available for all customers. Funds will enable you to manage your giving types and have improved reporting of your funds.
The Funds Summary section is where you can see your list of funds, and the total that has been given to each Fund. On this screen you can sort your funds by name or value, edit a fund by selecting it, or add a new fund.
The Manage funds section allows you to set which funds are visible to givers, the order that your funds should be displayed, and whether or not you want a default fund pre-selected for your givers.
The reallocate transactions section allows you to do a bulk update of the fund associated with historical transactions. When we set up your funds for you to manage, there may have been some older transactions that we couldn't map to one of your current funds. We've placed these in an "Unknown" fund. You can use this tool to reallocate these transactions to the correct fund.
The Funds Import section allows you to easily match an existing or new fund to a matching fund from your ChMS Direct Integration. This is so that when a contribution is made to that fund it is properly matched within your ChMS.
